  • Hiya LBB'ers,

eBay sells everything from soup to nuts and now there is bingo domains for sale. I am not so sure that is the place buyers would check out but maybe it is the wave of the future. At the moment there is but a few for sale and purchase prices vary from £85 to a whopping £49,999 and that is just for the domain not the site.

Do you think selling gambling domains on eBay is going too far and do you think that some of these domains are a bit over the top for what they are asking for?

  • And it's very sweet of them to offer free shipping. LOL Maybe selling the domains of ebay makes them more accessible to the average person. Some may not know where to begin to view available domains and purchase one. Some of the prices are outrageous but then again if the name is good, the sky is the limit on profits.

  • Ebay will sell anything.  Doesn't surprise me they are trying to make money on domain names.

  • I'm surprised that they are allowing this.  There are plenty of sites offering domain names for sale but as Chilly said - its just another way to make more money.

  • These are new ways of earning money; though it would be a strange thig to go to ebay and buy domains. When I think about this, it's not so stange, it easy, accessible and many people use ebay today.

  • Something new everyday, especially on e-bay.

  • One thing is for sure. Lines will continue to be crossed. There are so many things that have made me go hmmm that nothing surprises me but I don't necessarily think that this is a bad thing. In may help the consumer because prices tend to be decent on ebay. They my find the deal of a life time.

  • I agree froggy, it seems like nothing is suprising these days but I as well dont think this is a bad thing. E bay is evolving in what it is meant to be, a place where you can find almost everything money can buy and with online bingo market expanding its no suprise someone is selling bingo domains there.

Im not sure wheather someone will find deal of life time there but at least as Markotik said its easy and accesible by many people, so when there is more byers there is more chance for something to be sold.

  • Now ebay allows domain sales? It doesn't affect me one way or another so I don't necessarily think it's wrong. The cost is dear and something about buying any high ticket item from them makes me slightly nervous.

  • I can understand being nervous to buy anything high priced from ebay. It's tough when you don't know exactly what you're getting but you do have some buyer protection from ebay if it's not as described.

  • Ooh!  Ooh!

Looks like nobody has come up with this domain name as of yet.
