Buying Bingo Cards and Playing for Free Just Doesn't Mix

I recently played bingo in a free room and paid for my cards which gave me a higher prize and a shot a couple of jackpots. When I initially entered the room I didn't realize that it was a mixture of free bingo players and those that bought cards. The prizes were £50 for 1 line, £100 for 2 and £150 for the full house. The free bingo players won £1 for the line, £2 for 2 lines and £3 for the house.

I played several games each time paying for my cards and each time the game was won by a free bingo player. There were more than 500 players to compete with in this room. I should've known better but the prizes were too good.

Do you think this is fair? Do you think free bingo should be separate?

This is so so not fair... it's rediculous... you're paying money for cards that are free for players, the smaller jackpots for free players are gonna win every time, maybe they will toss in a win for the paying customers at every 50th game or so meantime it's used to pay off the freebie winners.. i think your money is paying for the free winners, lots of things run through my mind when i read that.. they are offering a free bingo room funded by paying bingo players?

It sure seems that way doesn't it Imagin. After I blew all my money in there, I played several free games out of curiosity. I let it run in the background while I did other things. There were only free winners. It was so irritating.

Sounds extremely dodgy Froggy.  They should definitely be separate.  How can they justify free players winning such low pots when there are paying players in the room.  What happens to the rest of the money from the players that paid, if a "free" player wins?

I know you did not realize it was pay and free when you put your good money into this bingo room, but anyone who knew it was this way would be wise to steer clear just because of the sheer number of players in each game. It's hard enough to win in a room with 30 or 40 paying players. How bad are the odds of winning with 500 players even if it is not set to let the free players win? This just beats all I ever seen.

Well one noticable thing is that they really dont need to set free players win all the time, simply by lowering your odds froggy the house already made advantage against you exponentialy higher, that looks like clean profit for the house to me already (ofc if they set up winings than it would be an outrage).

I just zoned in on the prize, jumped in the room and bought tickets. As I'm waiting for the game to begin I notice the the number of players in the room. I would never ever spend time playing in a room with that many players.

They raised the prizes yesterday for the Superbooks (upgrade tickets/pay) so I went in and had free bingo running in the background all afternoon. It was hours and I don't know how many games I played but not one winner was the buyer of a Superbook. It may be that no one was dumb enough to buy them but who knows.

I remember one time i went into a free bingo room, the game had like maybe 10 players in there but still 4 minutes to start.. i was like oh hey i might win me some free bingo.. well i walked out to go smoke,then fill my coffee to sit down at a nice game, got myself all settled.. looked again and there was 298 players....  :`o
