  • Hi guys,

I was checking bingo sites and I found this "Only funded players are eligible to play." Could someone tell me what does "funded players" mean?  :-[

    This is the link:

http://www.costabingo.com/skin/pancake-day.php  In terms and conditions. As you will see, you can play for £500 in pancakes.  :D

  • Hi Markotik,

This means that you must be a depositor. "Funded" as in funded your account. That looks like a great promo.  :)

  • Thanks Feeling froggy!

I am an online bingo beginner and I wanted to participate in that promotion and then I read that so I was kind of confused.

  • This is certainly a great site to choose Markotik.  You can see brief regular updates of bonuses and what's going on HERE.

  • Lol, I totally understand why you found yourself confused Markotik. It's not easy for us non-native speakers to grasp why venues are using so many synonyms for the same thing - wouldn't it be easier if they said depositing players, or something of the sort? :) Nevertheless, that bingo site is really good, and the promo looks tempting, to say the least! :P

  • Thank you so much blue! I will check the topic regularly from now on.

Ah, yes CatFace! Some things are difficult to understand. ;) I'm sure they want to confuse us. :)

  • At least regarding bingo sites, you mostly cant do anything without funded account, i think its the most used word in their T&C's :D

  • Loool, you got me drtheolen! I don't play bingo that often so I don't know all their T&C terminology! :D

  • Hehe Cat, i learned it in harder way :D

You cant even withdraw winnings from a no deposit if you are not funded. The best thing you can recieve is free trial bonus to try out the games (and its usually only $10-20). But good thing is that bingo is so cheap to play, thats why i like it, you can play really long with $50 for example.

  • Yeah, this stuff is good to know. Thanks guys. Yes, there are some regularities or rules that are common for all sites. And certainly, it's a good thing that bingo is fairly cheap.

  • Don't feel bad Markotik i didn't know for the longest time what a "blackout" game was. I am used to it called a "coverall" and when i finally learned what it was i felt so dumb  :o

  • Yes and I guess that's normal. I had the same feeling when I first started playing slots, too. Everything was difficult to understand. :)

  • The lingo is always such a pain to catch on to. I was familiar with the term "bingo cards". When I came to the UK, they called them tickets. Now it's like second nature to call them tickets. Luckily bingo has less terminology than other games like some of the cards games.  ??? I'm lost there.

  • Well i have to confess my ignorance! I didn't know what "LPs" were. I would see that in promos and wonder what in the world is that. Then out of the blue it hit me one day like a ton of bricks, Loyalty Points  :-[!

So see we all struggle from time to time  ;)
