Every year we have a block party it's usually done in October, but our Community Leader was on vacation so we postponed. At each end of the street it's blocked off for traffic, of course there are procedures and things that have to be done before this, we get the okay from the city (actually i don't know who works that magic but it gets done lol) We always have a theme, we've had bring your pet, dress like a clown, show off your bike, homemade boxcar judging, we always do something.. raffles, games and food is there also and most money is put into a comminity charity..
Well, this year i thought of a good theme, i thought of Human Bingo Balls.. we could make a giant bingo board out of say 1 foot squares of cardboard 75 pieces, and have it lined and set up in the street, under certain squares there could be prizes, a person will buy their Human Bingo Balls number like say i'd be 0-69, when 0-69 gets called i'd go stand on my square in the street and hope theres a prize under it, at the same time bingo cards are sold as well.. i said well, the Human Bingo Ball number could be sold for like say 3 to 5 bucks because the big prize in under one of those squares, and cards to play bingo could be say a dollar and you can win such and such on bingo patterns til blackout.. we can continue more bingo games but the prizes under the squares are claimed in the first game..
