  • I've been around bingo sites for one year now. Rookie :D I noticed that when you play with no deposit bonuses, some bingo sites let you buy only limited number of tickets for their games. I don't really think that's fair, though they give you a certain number of free cards, as well, depending of the number of bought cards.

For example, you're allowed to buy 15 cards and you get 15 for free.

I guess it's just a matter of perspective; I just feel that I don't have equal chances as depositing players though as a depositor, I don't always play with the maximum number of tickets even when I am able to.

What do you guys think about this? Should it be changed or should it stay the way it is now?

  • I think of No deposits bonuses as - Don't look a gift horse in the mouth! It's free, i can pay and i can win some cash risk free.

  • Well, if I were wishing for changing the no deposit bonus rules at bingo sites, I'd definitely want to go for *don't make it funny money* before going for *make it equal to all other player's advantages*, but you are right.  If they are limiting you, you are at a disadvantage.

However on the other hand, it only takes one card to win.

If I went to a land based bingo parlor, with a coupon in hand for free play, they would not tell me I can play but if I win I can't have the money, or I can only buy 1/4 of the tickets anyone else can buy.  Or I have to spend 30x my winnings or 30x the value of the coupon before I can leave the building with any cash.

That's the way I think online bingo should also be.

  • I say it's free so just enjoy it. Land based bingo don't offer have of the freebies that online bingo sites or online casinos offer. Online offers quite a few and they must leave something for you to look forward to once you deposit otherwise what would encourage you to? It would be awesome if they did away with wagering requirements. :)

  • Ive been playing bingo for many years :) Free bingo wasnt even heard of back in the day..it was a new thing, and was only put in place to give a feel for the site and to entice..of course their objective is to get people to deposit, and I totally understand and appreciate that.

There are kind of 'unspoken' rules, that many who were around when free bingo started understand...I have my favourite sites where I deposit each weekend, not great amounts, but still a deposit :) And those where I play free bingo. I have a 'minimum' for withdrawal which is £300, I don't withdraw anything under...Ive often seen my username on the 'winners' tab, saying how much won (which is how much you have won not taking into account what the stakes were) and it can be thousands, despite only withdrawing £300-£500.  It keeps both sides happy, and is only right really. I have had some fabulous wins over the years :)

  • Your recent win was amazing mamt! The free bingo is great but it can be frustrating for depositing players or players that purchase their tickets with cash. For example, Mecca Bingo combines free bingo and Superbooks. You rarely see a Superbook player win, always the free player winning  £1 or so. Of the 700 players in the room I'd guess that the majority of them are free bingo players. Nothing wrong with it but don't combine the two!

  • feeling froggy..I totally agree, Ive tried many sites, and always go back to my regulars, ..its such a shame that counties are resticted on them, here in the UK, on cassava sites and related, we have the best sites possible really, no restrictions on playthrough as such, just the minimum deposit required to withdraw  (you may lose bonus money acquired from deposit, if withdrawing before stated playthrough) and good slots etc on bingo sites :) i do quite well, in fact just withdrawn another £500 today (although could have withdrawn £1000 lol, I do like to play :) ) I probably wouldnt have even withdrawn that what with current wins but partner wants an absolutely ridiculous purchase that I wont pay for out of current money lol

  • <sigh>

Please keep telling me tales of this beautiful place where the bingo is fabulous and the winning is fine!

  • :) chillymellow, well...nothing is simple. we do have good sites available to us, but it takes time and effort too. I do ok, but also go through long periods of winning nothing. I have my bingo on in the background all day, every day, and know what big free games play where and when :) Plus you have to know what to do with the winnings, simply playing on bingo cards will very rarely get you anywhere...

  • I've always had much better luck on the slots, so I like it where you can play your no deposit bonus money on games other than bingo.  Waiting to win a bingo game can be torture when you just want to go spinning.

  • I prefer no deposits, I don't mind the restrictions. However, I prefer free games full stop - I would rather not put in any money as I play for fun not to win anything from it.

That is why I tend to play free facebook games or apps that I am not inclined to purchase unless I want more add ons, also gives you the chance to be more social.

You should try out some facebook games or apps that give you the same sorta fun but are less money based. My fav at the moment (well I say fave but I mean, I am addicted to) is Pumpkin Bingo.

They are good for when you are bored sitting on a train or whilst you are supposed to be focused on something else, just a quick pick me up.

If you have a smartphone then type in free bingo games and take your pick :)

  • I do enjoy bingo freebies, although I never had much luck in cashing out.

however i do prefer bingo sites that offer BOGOF bingo ( buy one get one free ).

  • BOGOF bingo games are a must especially when you're on a tight budget. You can win some nice jackpots. I've had a decent win or two when I got free cards.
