Police holding four people in church bingo robbery

Milwaukee police have four people in custody in connection with an armed robbery of a bingo game Friday night.

Just after 9 p.m. on Friday at Rafael the Archangel Congregation, 2273 S. 31st St, there were about 200 people in the bingo hall and five people were robbed. No one was injured.

Witnesses told a Journal Sentinel reporter that robbers wearing Halloween masks stormed into the hall shortly after 9 p.m. and at least one was armed with what appeared to be a handgun. One woman said one of the robbers put the gun to her daughter's face before grabbing her purse and fleeing.

:o :oDoes that stink or what!!! It's on my local news...I only live about 30 miles from Milwaukee.Those poor seniors were freaking,along with everyone else.I guess their bingo jackpot is $3,000 :o.

That is horrible, shame on those 4 people...

Nasty and in a church too.  You just can't believe how low some people will go for a few bucks.
