  • Jackpotjoy Bingo has a brand new Instant Game called The Money Drop. You basically choose your wager, number of rounds and number of trapdoors. Players can divide their cash into stacks to improve their odds but the prize goes down as a result.

Place you "stacks" of cash on the number of trapdoors you choose. Any cash falling through is lost. If the trapdoor doesn't open, you and your cash move on to the next round.

As you play you earn Golden Tickets to a £100,000 Jackpot game. I got there and lost immediately.  LOL My money fell straight through the first trapdoor.

I'll admit, I was confused at first and just sat staring at the screen. I had to read exactly how to play but I've got the hang of it now. It wasn't my favorite game at first but after a few games I can see the draw. I'm sure we'll be hearing of a £100,000 winner very soon. I can only hope it's one of us.  :-bd

  • Strange game, i just wanted to see what it is so i gave it a try. I figured out eventually how to play this, interesting game, however im still a bit without any idea of strategy (or something that can be called that) :D I think ill need a bit more experience for that.

That huge jackpot is soooooo teasing...

  • With RNG and all this randomness going on, we can put our cash anywhere and it doesn't matter. That takes some of the pressure off but still I totally agree with the need for a strategy drtheolen. I don't split the cash in the first round or two to keep the prize higher. If I make it through after that I split it up. I am reducing the prize but it's much higher than if I chose to split from the first round.

  • Knowing how that RNG works really kinda spoils that cool gambling tension, wouldnt you agree? Its the burden of choice that makes gambling a lot of fun, at least for me. I hope manufacturers of games will improve that a bit in the future.

  • Wow that looks like a very interesting game. Yes i agree dr having the ability to really pick is part of the fun but on the other hand how many times have you beat yourself up for choosing the wrong one. I guess it depends on how you look at it.

I have been to land based casinos and have seen so many players upset because they think they "chose" the wrong one. I have to bite my tongue from telling them it really isn't your fault but i know they would prolly say how would you know or trying to explain the whole RNG might be a bit too technical for someone out trying to have a good time.

  • Heh well, suppose thats why gambling is called gambling, high risk=high reward but ofc it also bares high consequences. I do want the ability to choose for myself, but surely no one likes to bare a burden of a wrong choice :D All that somehow seems like circulus vitiosus to me.

Thanks froggy for nice tips, seems to work better your way :D

  • I tried it, too. At first, I had no idea what I was doing. :) Very interesting and thanks for the tips.

  • Isn't that game based on a game show? I wish I could play it.

  • Yeah, I think it was. There was a show in the UK and a short lived show in the USA. Million Pound Drop and Million Dollar Money Drop. It is a pretty cool game.  :-bd
