  • Hiya LBB'ers,

Playing at any online gambling site players need to read the terms and conditions carefully as to not set themselves up for disappointment. Having read posts from time to time where players did not know or understand the rules and ended up feeling like they got a major shaft has prompted this thread.

In the event a member finds terms that they either don't understand or feel players should be warned about to take preventive measures when playing, please post them here. Hopefully we can help each other and abide by the rules at particular sites that have strict guidelines or at least try to decipher what they mean.

    Thanks,

    Lips

  • Many of us have signed up to every bingo site imaginable. If you can't remember, talk to support. It's better to avoid a potential problem before you attempt to cash out.

  • the majority of sites have very vague terms and conditions with disclaimers that pretty much null and void all of the terms that made sense.  they always have one term that says no matter what, for whaterver the reason, we can void your winnings and not pay.  the only reason these sites can survive is that all of us gamblers are addicts and need to feed the gambling demons no matter how dumb that makes us.  I would challenge our LCB'ers to find a set of terms and conditions that doesnt have the "disclaimer"

  • I've talked to support and then ended up shafted as their cashier did not agree with the answer support gave.

Terms and conditions are hard to find, in a complete set.  Usually it's a combination of the bonus rules, the withdrawal rules, the playthrough rules, and the deposit rules, so you have to look through all documentation to get a complete answer.  Usually the accounting or cashier help email addresses are the ones who can deny you so they are the ones to ask when you are wondering.

  • I dont have much problem with the rules being split in 4-5 categories, I think a lot of players is getting used to such concept (or I rather hope that is the case), but seeing an important part of the bonus rules listed in deposit or withdrawal section can be quite anoying, creates a feeling it was intentionaly placed where it is not logical to be found.

It would be really wise to check out complete rules before depositing or claiming a bonus.

  • There was just some interesting news that may shake up some of the online gambling sites that have rules so complicated you need a lawyer to figure it out. A player sued a site for betting 50k  that he claims his girlfriend's 5 year old son made while he was out of town and wanted it back.

He won the case because the judge said the 49 pages of terms and conditions were so complicated it was near impossible to figure out. I hope it is a wake up call to sites that have unreasonable and/or terms so outrageous or complicated that players couldn't abide by them if they tried. I say bravo to the judge for making such a decision.

One of the rules i have seen that i feel is completely unfair is any wins that stay dormant in a players account for 30 days or more is removed. That is not a very long time to allow players considering they could be out of town traveling, sick or any other reason in life that could delay going back to the site.

  • I've seen several sites that say if you let anyone play your account, even if you don't know about it, they can ban you.

  • That was a crazy story lips. It was so obvious that the man made those charges but that was overlooked due to extensive terms and conditions. Unbelievable!

  • Here are some "new" rules regarding slot tournaments at any of the Amigo Bingo Group sites for the month of June ( i would carefully read July's and every other month thereafter):

They offer weekly Parlay slot tournaments and here is what the promo looks like........

    amigo-1.png

See anything unusual about this tournament?

When we play in a slot tournament it is easy to assume that top players are the winners. If you are ranked as number one on the leader board then it is pretty clear to think that you are the first place winner right? I mean isn't that how most tournaments determine their winners? If not then why have a leader board at all right?

Wrong....not the case with Amigo slot tournaments.

"As you requested it, this month the weekly winners will

be randomly selected from all qualified players!

The more entries you get the more chances you have

to become one of the 5 weekly cash winners."

So another words if you are number one in the ranks it is irrelevant because they will "randomly" choose the winners. But what doesn't make sense to me is "the more entries you get the more chances you have to win" ummmm doesn't that mean the top slot spinner?

And this rule was implemented because it was "requested" by players? Really?

  • That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Do they really think that we believe that we as players requested this? Doing things this way is not going to get them anywhere.

  • This is just preposterous! They invented a tournament where winners are selected by a random draw. Complete nonsence I say.

  • and all the winners are employees ahahhahahahahah wtf

  • and all the winners are employees ahahhahahahahah wtf

    not surprised

  • I guess enough time has wounded my heels now I must confess I put great effort into (once again) maintaining 1st place in the tourney.  Never saw the disclaimer and ABSOLUTELY would not have kept competing once in the top 5 had anyone informed me of the change.  I had to sit out the prior week waiting for my withdrawal to be approved.  (it was, and it got here fine)  Chatted with other participants and chat hosts about needing to win bingo so I could spin more and get to number one.  Not one word about the new "I asked for it" rule.  Went to bed slept well when the tourney ended.  Next day...$75 instead of the expected $250.  Then they said, no you were fourth.  Our dear Scrooge was first place.  I am sure cannonballs were shooting out of my eyes at that bit of incomplete info.  They let me get hopping mad then sprung the surprise fine print on me.  Personally I felt they were totally making the whole thing up, but...it's my choice to play if I feel that way or not so I bailed out of all the bingoaffiliates and left the balance rotting away in my account.

With a name like scrooge, in the middle of the heatwaves of early summer, well, I'm thinking more a knife in the back bya bot than someone just like me being lucky to be chosen for first place.  And I couldn't let myself stick with them.  Would have been nicer if the explanation had gone into the detail of the rules change, but no, they let me hang from the hook on that.

  • That random choosen winner of a tournament is just so stupid concept that I really cannot believe any player would ask for it.

Also according to their rules, they are not obliged to inform you about any change they make, and that is stupid too because under those circumstances you need to spend half an hour prior playing games browsing the site to see what has been changed and that is really boring and spoils the fun. I say, if they put at least 10% of the effort they currently do on spaming your mailbox with unclaimable offers, on some nice newsletter with info about important changes on the site it would be just quite enough to satisfy me.

I made a habbit to check out everything before I start playing just because of similar situations I had, I even check out the rules for reload bonuses that i claimed before. Its really boring but keeps my head cool at least :D
