  • Hi Bingo Buds,

A tragic end for 84 year old Muriel Hattersley, after winning £30 at Nirvana Big Prize Bingo Hall in Cheshire, England.

Every Wednesday Muriel went to bingo and walked home, but this night would be her last. On her way home with her winnings in her purse took the mile long stroll, she tripped on a tree root in a farmer's field.

She was knocked unconscious but was still alive when a pig got loose from the farm and literally devoured her alive.

Her remains were discovered by farm workers early the next morning who then called the local authorities and went to the gruesome crime scene.

Her daughter Janet Wilson said she would worry about her walking home but her mom was insisted on doing so.

I don't think i have ever heard anything so horrific and though i heard pigs can be mean, never realized they were this dangerous to humans.

  • That is awful.  Poor woman.

  • That's incredibly sad... Pigs shouldn't be dangerous, at least in theory, but they can react badly in some situations.

  • I had to read the title of this thread twice. That's horrific. I couldn't imagine something like that.
