World Bingo Network closes its doors!

I am so so so sad to see this, one of the best bingo net works being forced to close it's door.

When will be good enough for this DOJ to stop?

The US-facing WorldBingo Network first set up 10 years ago way before bingo in the UK was established.

WBN's first site was Bingoworkz and it was the start point for the internet's first linked sites creating a network.

These sites that were well known to us, many bingo lovers...

On each of World Bingo Network's sites, as well as the company's main site, the following message appeared;

It is with great sadness that we announce the closure of World Bingo Network and all sites.

Our doors close at noon EST on May 27, 2011.

A challenging environment and circumstances beyond our control have made it impossible for us to continue operations. It is our intention to ensure that all players are taken care of and deposits refunded at the earliest possible time. All players will be receiving letters in this regard.

We have fond memories of great people, wonderful staff and fun times while they lasted.

Geeezzzzzzz they are attacking every nook and cranny aren't they. i really didn't think it was going to effect bingo. Not completely understanding who they decide to target. WBN i don't believe was among one of the largest software markets in comparison to others.

Ahhhh well guys there has to be a silver lining.......somewhere.

That's quite sad, hopefully other companies will jump in to fill the gap.

It's very sad indeed.  As you say Johnny, other sites will be filling the gap and they will appreciate all the extra customers that's for sure.

Does anyone know of any other bingo site with the same Slots as WBN had...

Hi ya Gurl.

I know how much you loved their cool slot games and I too miss them very much.

I could be wrong but WBN used their own World Bingo Network bingo software and I haven't seen the same slot games in any other sites unfortunately.

My personal favorite is cozy games bingo software and they have some awesome slot games beside variety of different bingo games if you haven't tried them yet.

Sorry for not being a great help and I hope you will find another site that may interests your liking.  :)
