50-year old mother goes to Gibraltar

A mother of two was lucky enough to win a fantastic holiday and the opportunity of a lifetime to compete in Gala Bingo’s Ultimate Bingo Championships in Gibraltar. 50-year-old Susan Mayhew logged on for a quick game of bingo at galabingo.com and was soon celebrating after winning a trip to the sunshine isle of Gibraltar and the chance to win a share of the £100k jackpot up for grabs.

She seems to be a nice lady as she will take her husband with her: “I can’t wait to jet off to Gibraltar, we’ve visited the island once before and thought it was absolutely beautiful. I’m so excited that galabingo.com is giving me the chance to go back and play to win a share of £100k.”

Asked what she would do if she were to be crowned the Gala Ultimate Bingo Champion, Susan said: “I’d share the money with my family, perhaps take them all on a lovely holiday. I would also spoil my daughters and buy them each a new car. My youngest is starting driving lessons next year and it would be lovely to be able to buy her a car for when she passes her test.”

The 2011 Ultimate Bingo Championship is taking place between Monday, 7 and Wednesday, 9 November and will see players whisked off to Gibraltar for a three day stay in a top four star hotel while competing to become the Ultimate Bingo Champion and win a share of £100k prize money.

In order to be in with a chance of winning a place in the final players need to take part in special games marked with the trophy logo running daily at Gala Bingo and on galabingo.com. There are four qualifier games per day on Monday to Saturday, plus three games on a Sunday.

LOL My Mother-in-law is in the qualifying round for this in the land based bingo club. If you bingo on the Gold ticket, you get a folder that you must bring with you to enter into the All Winner's Game.It has an id number or something.

Well, she tore through the house looking for that folder that she got over a month ago. I knew she would lose it.

Oddly enough, she did end up finding it this morning and is going to play June 28th. We shall see how far she can go. She might be heading up to Bristol for the Silver round if she can win the Bronze.

God help the caller if he doesn't call out her numbers.

Sorry for not getting back sooner. There was some drama. When MIL is involved there is always drama. Anyway, she missed the 28th and caught the All Winner's Game another day. She was told that she could only use her ticket to participate in only one All Winners Game. Turns out she could have been using it all along and participating in each All Winners Game since she won in May. She's not happy but there's nothing she can do at this point. She can still participate in each game until August. Hopefully she at least wins the trip to Bristol.  :O

Awww hope she wins froggy that will be really cool if she did. I know she is a true blue bingo lover and deserves it!

Yesterday was the trip to Bristol. MIL was there and won the trip to Gibraltar! She won it and will be going with her bf. They presented her with flowers and champagne. She is the 2011 Ultimate Winner of our club. She had her pic taken. Maybe I'll see her face hanging on the walls at bingo.

She goes to Gibraltar in November and will play for 20,000 cash. Whoo hoo go MIL!!!
