    Details: Ritzy Bingo Review

  • Avoid them at all costs....

To sum up what happened which I mentioned in another thread.

I got an email from them regarding a "no deposit bonus". As with any bingo bonuses it is always crucial that players read every single bit of the terms before bothering with their so called "no deposit bonuses" because 90% of the time the bonus is "free money".

Anyways. I read the exact term...

"Players cannot request a withdrawal on any winnings won prior to the account being funded"

To anyone this clearly says "You can only withdraw winnings from any free chips once you have made a deposit". Fair enough because many casinos/bingo sites claim they need you to deposit for "fraud prevention" aka to prove you can actually deposit and give them money instead of just playing and winning for free.

I played with this £5 bonus. I got down to my last £1 and then hit a full house for over £10.

I checked the minimum withdraw and it was £25. A few more games of bingo and I was up to £18 real money. I decided to play a bit of slots and blackjack. Eventually I hit just over £25 which was the minimum to cashout.

When checking through the withdraw options I accidently pressed "withdraw" and it said it is processing. Knowing full well I wouldnt see a penny unless I made a minimum deposit I got hold of their live support.

I confirmed with live support (John) that to cashout my bonus winnings all I needed to do was deposit a minimum amount and I could cashout. He told me when I deposited I would be granted with a 350% bonus but since their bonuses have "NO WR" I could just cashout all the balance but of course lose my bonus.

I get paid tomorrow so had planned to deposit tomorrow and cashout.

Today I got an email regarding my accidental withdraw which read:

"Please note that any winnings that you may have won prior to funding cannot be cashed out though you may continue to use those winnings to play.  You may cashout any winnings that you win from the time of funding onwards but not prior to funding.

Although you may continue to play your winnings unfortunately we will not be able to process your cashout request on this occasion.

    Sorry for any disappointment.

    Kind Regards

    Accounting Department"

They elaborated on the term I read however have stated that what it actually means is something that it did not read to mean (in this situation they are saying it basically reads "if you havent deposited and claim a free chip then you cant withdraw")

Not only are their terms very misleading, but their support lied to me and support manipulated their sneaky worded terms to work in their favour.

  • I don't think you are quite right Marcus.

If you take the ND and then deposit at the same time, you can withdraw your winnings should you happen to win.  If you take the ND and win and then deposit, you can't.

I think this is quite standard for some of the bingo sites.  I remember writing it somewhere else.

  • I dunno I think their wording and the fact support told me I could deposit and cashout was just trickery... what would of happened if I had deposited? The cashout would of been refused, I would have £27 odd of "free money" which cant be cashed out and a deposit of £10 I would have to play with since I hadnt reached the £25 minimum cashout with it.

Its a bit silly them calling it a "no deposit" bonus... because surely if you had to deposit to cashout winnings from it, it would be like taking a bonus, and whatsmore is im guessing it uses your "real money" balance before it uses the "no deposit" bonus.

It seems a bit of a ripoff to customers as well. All bingo sites are in constant profit (well the 1's with enough players anyway) since with each game a bit of the pot is kept for the website. If a player like myself was playing after reading their rather misleading term line, then thought they could win some cash and they won real players cash, the real player is losing their money since the only person getting their money back wouldnt be the player but would be the bingo site... Especially bad if a real money player had 1TG and lost out on a win for someone who cant cashout

  • I agree it is not a "true" no deposit and as you say, it would use your cash first and then your free money so trying to win would be very difficult.  I guess that if you still have bonus bucks as well as the cash when you try to cashout, the bonus bucks will disappear?

I agree with your last paragraph too - someone who takes a no deposit and doesn't deposit is indeed taking the win away from someone who has and could actually cash out.  Although, if the no deposit player plays bingo with the winnings, they are putting money back into the pot for other players to win.
