  • Hiya Bingo Pumpkins,

Halloween is around the corner! I love to decorate and get in costume on Halloween. I try to go all out with decorations and come up with some spooky stuff! This year i will have a black coffin, an electric chair, crosses with old 1800 pics and an archway full of webs and skulls.

I hope to get it all done by this weekend and will take a pic of it to show everyone. Still have not decided what to dress up as.

What has been your favorite costume and or decorations you have ever seen. I am open for some ideas!

If you do dress up send in your pic to Vic's Bingo between October 21st and October 24th and you will be selected to participate in an absolutely horrifying Tournament, with awesome prizes, free of charge!

Between October 25th and October 27th, send an email to promotions@vicsbingo.ag with the picture and a few words explaining your costume choice, and on October 28th we will post the Tournament participants, together with their freaky costumes, on our blog.

The FREE Tournament will take place in our Tournament room on October 31st between 2 PM and 3 PM EST, consisting of $100 fixed prizes, up to $1,000!

Rules: Players must make at least a $50 deposit between now and the 24th of October.

  • Halloween has only been celebrated for the last few years here in the UK and I've never dressed up for it.  The kids do now and all the usual stuff is in the shops.

Here is a great recipe though:

Time to get the food lined up for Halloween - try 32Red Bingo's SCARY EYEBALL PASTA for a spine-tinglingly warming main course!

    mozarrela-pasta_220x150.jpg

    INGREDIENTS

    100g cherry tomatoes

150g pack mini mozzarella balls, drained

    handful basil

    400g green tagliatelle

    350g jar tomato sauce

    4 tbsp fresh pesto

    METHOD

    1.  Halve the tomatoes & remove the seeds. Cut the mozzarella balls in half. Place one half inside each tomato. Cut the smallest circles you can from a basil leaf & place one at the centre of each mozzarella ball.

    2.  Boil the pasta. Meanwhile, heat through the tomato sauce. When the pasta is cooked, drain and stir through the pesto and any remaining basil, chopped finely. Divide between 4-6 serving bowls. Spoon over some tomato sauce, then arrange the stuffed tomato eyeballs on top.

    Doesn't it look lovely....

  • I won't be dressing up this year but I do love Halloween. It's such a fun time of year. We have been watching at least one horror movie every night over the last week. It's a lot of fun.

    Here's some Halloween cuteness....

  • Soo cute.

I'll dress as evil-crazy doctor. Is the cheapest thing I could think of.

  • That sounds pretty scary lua  :`o

  • Sounds like fun lua! Did you buy the costume or is a homemade creation?

  • Homemade. Lucky for me, my brother's wife works in a hospital so she will get me stuff. a little bit of crazy hair,  makeup and blood and voila. I love Halloween.

Halloween will soon be here-have you decided what you will be this year? I love that chance to dress-up-it allows us to use our imaginations & be a kid again,& I'm all for that! So..did you know what you choose may reveal more than you think...

Beware, your costume might be letting some skeletons out of the closet, ones you didn't even know you had. Halloween expert Suzanne Kelly tells us what your costume says about you:

What Your Halloween Costume Says About You if You're a Ghost

You’re either cheap, unoriginal, or lazy. If you think that you can throw an old white sheet over your head, cut slits for eyeholes and call it a costume, you’re sadly mistaken.

What Your Halloween Costume Says About You if You're a Pirate

Fun-loving and adventurous, you aren’t afraid to take risks. You aren’t easily influenced, especially when it comes to people’s opinions about others; you truly believe that there's a hidden treasure buried within everyone.

What Your Halloween Costume Says About You if You're a Superhero

Some may say you're close-minded. But you're actually just self-assured and strong-willed. You're a loyal friend, someone who is always willing to go above and beyond for them. Because of this, you are someone that others look up to and seek comfort in. More importantly, you look good in spandex.

What Your Halloween Costume Says About You if You're a Witch

You aren’t afraid to tell people what you think, even if you make some enemies in the process. Those who know you well would say you have a spell-binding personality.

What Your Halloween Costume Says About You if You're a Devil

You are naughty by nature and don’t care who knows. It’s rare that you don’t get your way, and if you don’t, you aren’t afraid to use extreme measures. Be careful, it’s a tangled web you weave.

What Your Halloween Costume Says About You if You're a Nurse

You’re a people person who enjoys doing whatever it takes to make others around you feel comfortable. You jump at the chance to check someone’s vitals or give mouth-to-mouth. Just remember, you need to take care of yourself sometimes too.

What Your Halloween Costume Says About You if You're a Clown

Your main concern is having fun, even at your own expense. You thrive on being the center of attention, and no doubt your antics will earn you that spot.

Now-I am not convinced that this is accurate-I think we sometimes dress-up to explore a persona that is the opposite of what we're really like.At any rate-I'm going for the Sultry,Vampiric look...how about you????

The bottom line is have fun,my Pretties!!!

  • What fun list dazzling! I kind of go for the homemade costumes and don't normally buy the store bought and come up with my own ideas. But so far i have not come up with a thing yet. So i may have to buy one!

  • Haha, love this post, thank you lips, blue, froggy and debra!

Im dressing up, im gonna be a glittering magical black cat,i'm carrying a wand and giving out candy i'm wearing knee high black bootsand all black attire with a bow tie.. with ears, long furry tail and claws and my face painted with the characteristics of a kitty, real whiskers though (my friends are teasing saying theres going to be a joke going around calling me "puss n'boots") that got me thinking.. maybe i might just do that i'd only need to change the colors and get a sword and belt with buckle

  • The magical cat sounds adorable! I keep going back and fourth tween something cutesy or something more scary. With Halloween a week away i know i have to get cracking!

    Lips

  • Go for something scary Lips!
