  • Hi all,

There was a recent marriage proposal caught on video at Bingo Cams and it got me to thinking. Does your partner share your passion for bingo or gambling in general? If not how do you feel about that?  Does the fact that you can ditch them and hit the bingo hall or casino make the world a better place?

My partner can stay far away as far as I'm concerned. We would only spend more money if we both gambled. It leaves that much more for me to play with.  ;D I can stand when I see husbands or wives telling the other to cash out when they've won $10. C'mon that's nothing. I like having my own interests especially when it comes to my bingo!

    So what are your thoughts?

  • Agreed Froggy! My BF is not a fan of gambling period and I don't mind one bit! I get to do my own thing when I want wo someone breathing over me not to mention how broke we would be if we both gambled!  LOL it's nice to have a balance.

  • Hmm.... bingo is something I like and I don't think that I need to do everything with my partner; I think we would suffocate each other. It's good to have some different interests.

  • My girlfriend isn't really into gambling, she tried several times both some slots and some bingo but she really does not find it interesting enough :) Personally, I wouldn't mind at all if she did, as long as she is having fun and not making a bad habit out of it.

Regarding us playing together, I don't think it would work however (assuming she had interest in gambling). Gambling online is something I enjoy alone beside my computer, and if my girlfriend would gamble she would probably do it the same way. We could however go out in a land based casino or bingo hall together, its a whole different experience.

  • I wouldn't mind going to a bingo hall with a partner in fact would prefer the company. Casinos on the other hand are a completely different story. Sometimes when i go to land based casinos and i see couples playing and they are regulars i wonder how in the world they do it.

Winning is nice but if you and your partner are losing that can cause a serious dent in your bank account. I would ideally prefer a partner that is not much into gambling and leave that department up to me lmaooooooooo! Then again i wouldn't want a total ant-gambling either. Vegas would certainly be a drag going with someone who walks around like a mope.

I think if one has a passion for something the other doesn't its a nice mix and keeps the couple out of trouble. Everything in moderation including drinking! I don't know if i could handle a non-drinker no more than i could handle a raging alcoholic.

  • I would definitely try Bingo with my wife, although she is highly competitive (even more than I am), and I am sure that would be some story to tell :) However, she doesn't really like gambling, so I doubt she would try it, even if it was just for fun...

  • A nice balance would be nice. Going to the casino or to bingo with me would be ok but I wouldn't want him getting all in my business. LOL

  • That's the spirit Froggy :) Maybe he could just keep the drinks coming and make sure no one bothers you .)

  • Lootva, have we met? LOL

  • Lootva, have we met? LOL

Don't think so, but who knows :)

  • heheh speaking of drinks, drink and gambling is not a good mix either. At least for me. If I drink a few I spend a few more than I wanted to. Do you gamblers like to drink while you play?

  • Depends on where i am playing at. If in Vegas or a state where the booze is free oh yeah i will drink for sure! Otherwise unless it is a special occasion i typically won't because i tend to get more careless and like "who cares, what's another $100".

  • Hmm.... I drink only occasionally, when I go out, so I don't drink when I play. :)

  • I drink rarely lately, mostly because I don't like drinking at home, and when I go out I always drive so again drinking is not an option.

I wouldn't have any problems however to drink and gamble, no matter how drunk I am I always think and behave the same, problems usually appear when I need to talk and walk :)

  • I am kind of a social drinker, not regularly, and only when I feel comfortable. Gambling and drinking is a big no no for me...
