A bingo worker for Mecca Bingo took his own life after getting caught stealing money from a fruit machine. It was his job to refill the machine when it was noticed that £250 would be short every week.
Francisco ‘Frank’ Campos-Guerra was only 45 years old, when he was found by his wife and young daughter hanging from a tree in the back yard of their home in Toynbee Road, Raynes Park on December 21, 2010.
During the Westminster Coroner’s Court hearing last Thursday, it was revealed that Mr Campos-Guerra would regularly arrive a few hours early for his Saturday shifts at the Mecca Bingo club Sutton.
April 14, Westminster Coroner’s Court was told Mr Campos-Guerra would frequently arrive two hours early for Saturday shifts at Mecca Bingo, in Rosehill, Sutton.
Afraid that an arrest would be made, he had asked if there was anything he could do before it would go to the police.
It is believed the he took his own life with the anxiety of this case.
It's a very sad story not only to jeopardize his job for £250 but to take his own life :(
