  • RSPCA  - The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.  This is the charity that Costa Bingo are supporting and you can do your bit to help.  The RSPCA NEVER put a healthy animal down

You can help Costa support the RSPCA by joining in their next charity game. Help them to raise money for this important cause by playing in their 90 ball bingo game. Cards cost just 1p and there is a guaranteed £250 up for grabs including 1TG. Best of all, for every player that enters, Costa will donate 20p to the RSPCA.  The game plays on Sunday 6th March at 10pm.

Definitely a very worthy cause - buy your tickets now and good luck.

  • Wow that is amazing blue. I was just thinking about how to get involved in a charity for animals at a bingo site and one is right here.

I hope everyone will try to play for this awesome event.

    I love it!

This is Moragh.  Her owner couldn't look after her due to ill health so he contacted RSPCA and they took her in and brought her back to the gorgeous cheeky looking dog you see above.

This is just one of thousands of animals they help every year and it is run solely on charitable donations so it's definitely a very worthy cause.

  • Ahhhh what a precious baby!

You know it makes me think about........ marketing when it comes to animal rescue. Here in the states we have "anti cruelty" shelters and from time to time they run TV commercials. They will show some of the most painful pictures of abused animals or video tape that i have to turn it off.

I mean it can be graphic and show these abused animals til your about to lose your mind with heartache. I have to turn away if the TV remote is not near by. But some will narrate the horrors done to these pets and I end up plugging my ears and saying as loudly as i can "la la la" to drown out the abuse they are describing.

Makes me wonder how effective that is when most can barely stand to watch it. If i wanted to donate to this particular charity i would never be able to because i can't bear to get to the end of the commerical.

I am curious to know if anyone else has a hard time watching this too.

  • I've seen similar commercials here but they don't sound as "brutal" as yours are in the US and they are rare too.
