  • I enjoyed the post kattboots. I was envisioning you armed with a dabber and scrambling to keep up. I have never stepped foot into a bingo hall and cant say that i would but the online thing has grown on me. We can kick back and relax armed with an ice cold one.

Aha! TommyGuns I think you hit the nail on the head! I did not even think of it! Being an Indian Gaming Casino there was NO ALCOHOL! OMG what was I thinking... heck with a few cold ones I could have played much faster! I would not have noticed, nor cared if I missed 90% of the numbers called!

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

  • Right on kattboots. Sneak a little of the good stuff in a flask next time.  :z

  • You've got the right idea Tommy. I like a little wine with my losing whine.

  • I really like this topic. I have no chance to experience land based bingo in my country because there isnt any, so its very interesting to hear other people's impressions. Online is cool and has many advantages but im no couch potato and i like to go out also and have a good gambling experience out of home.

  • So glad you are enjoying the thread drtheolen! Just imagine a giant room attached to a big casino with room for 800 people to play bingo.

While people are marking their numbers the place is totally quiet with all those people in there. The numbers come up but are not spoken aloud (they are on huge monitors all over the place showing the bingo ball that was drawn).

When someone gets a bingo they have to wait for the number to be announced, which happens just before the next number is drawn. Then they have to yell bingo in a set number of seconds.

You do not have to be anywhere near the person or persons that have the bingo to know someone has it and is waiting to yell. The hall full of people makes an unmistakable sound that radiates out from the winner waiting to yell bingo... a low murmur that grows little by little until the number is called and the winner(s) can yell.

It is an amazing experience drtheolen and I hope you enjoy hearing more about it since you don't have bingo halls where you live!
