Live Online Bingo Callers?

Would you like to play at an online bingo site with live callers? I think it would add to the experience as live dealers do at online casinos. I haven't ever come across a bingo site that offers live callers unless I've just missed it.

Even Bingo Cams has a live chat host but not the caller hmmm.....Does anyone know of any?

If some site would introduce such a concept i would certainly rush to play there. Its always good to have some live atmosphere from the comfort of home.

I suppose people who experienced land bingo would appreciate such a thing even more.

I havent stumbled across such a thing neither, but its so cool idea froggy, it could raise bingo to a whole new level of experience.

yes this is a great idea, the only site that has a live caller is gala bingo on the tv part of the site, and yes actually there was one but the live caller lagged and only said a few of the balls per game, but i cant remember which one it was, it was about a year ago when i saw that site though, so i cant remember, but there was even a chat where u could chat to the live caller too.

and they talked back while u watched it in the browser, it was streamed sorry i cant remember which it was called

I wouldn't want a live laggy caller either but one that is just fast as the automated caller. I kinda think a slow dopey caller would defeat the whole purpose.

yes, i think the best bingo is in land bingo places, :)

maybe when the internet speeds increase to very very fast in the future, this is when live calling in bingo might happen, then there might be less lag. it is nice idea though :)

i suppose it is the internet connection is the reason why a lot of bingo sites dont use live callers, because some still dont have a very fast connection to the internet, u know how streaming is when u watch youtube, and you know what it is like when it is very very busy, well that is why i think they havent implemented a live caller yet. but this is just a guess i could be totally wrong, most bingo sites use not very good software and also they would have to redesign the whole website and maybe use new software that has this feature available in it. who knows, maybe we should hope others might join this band wagon soon, the internet speeds are getting faster, virgin media is currently increasing all there speeds for free, im currently on 20mb connection but virgin media is tripling it for me soon too 60mb, so yes speeds will and are increasing, so i supose its just a matter of time, also maybe we should suggest this to our favourate bingo sites and see if they will add it in the future too, worth a try :)

I like your style LuckyRJ. We most definitely have to spread the word on live callers. I would like a crack at calling 90ball bingo but it must include the clever rhymes. Callers exclude the rhymes in the bingo halls don't they? I've traveled all over for work and I'm sure I've never heard them when I've stopped to play.

I dont think there is an internet connection speed limitation involved with laggy callers from player's side.

To make a technical comparision, the highest quality movie that i ever had in my posesion had a bit rate of 8Mb (and that is a full dual layer blu-ray disc), so with simple broadband internet connection you can not only hear the live caller but even transfer a picture from the camera with no problems at all!

But what i see it as a problem is expensive connection from bingo site's side since they need to support multiple players at the same time. And with the fact that many sites even limit free play traffic at this moment in mind, i couldnt make a prediction wheather anyone will invest enough money some time soon in idea like this to function on quality enough level.

when i meant about connection problems i meant all connection problems, their servers and bandwidth too, not just the players connections speeds, there is a lot of factors involved when it comes to internet connection issues relating to this feature if it was to happen, i only touched on the player side.

there is a prime example of server load in rogers bingo, when there is over 100 players in any one bingo room the bingo lags sooo badly, so it is true in what you said the bingo sites would need to improve there server load bandwidth first too, but im sure if a lot of players suggested this, some bingo sites might actually go down this route and implement it for the players who want it :) ( and i also think it will be a good advertising tactic and would bring more business) ( so the benefits of implementing it might outweigh the costs )

In order for bingo to be entertaining in future it will surely need to suffer some innovations, but unlike slots i guess game itself does not have that much room for it, same as table games for example. Live callers, live atmosphere, thats what would be a logical major improvement the way i see it, and im absolutely sure it would be welcomed in same manner as live dealers in online casinos.

That would be an interesting experience. I still enjoy an automatic caller but maybe that's because I am euphoric while waiting for my numbers. :D
