Blue girl you have got that one correct too congrats!

Ok here goes the next one:

Q: How did "Bingo" get it's name?

  • LOL @ condoies  Clever thinking fried-eggs.

    Thanks Lips and yayyyy.

I do know this one but I'll wait for others to guess it  ;D

  • I know it was called "beano" before but I don't know how it became "bingo".

  • I know it was called "beano" before but I don't know how it became "bingo".

Johnny beat me up to this one. Let me just say that the beano name was introduced because they used beans to cover the called numbers. The story goes that once, someone got really excited and instead of shouting Beano! said Beango, people liked it, and the rest is history...

  • Yay Beano is the correct answer! You guys are just too sharp.........wink!

Ok here is one that will stump you...........on second thought maybe not!

Q: How far can Bingo be traced?

  • Beano is so cute!

Hmmm, I'm gna go with the 1500s and ill just throw in that is was started in England somewhere. I could just see it being played in there fabulous castles as Queen Elizabeth walked the halls.

  • You are partially right! It does date back to the 1500's but not in England. Anyone no where?

  • Hmm.... 1500s? I'd go with Italy or France. Am I close?

  • Wow! 1500! I also think it's Italy...

  • Without googling, I think it's Italy too.

  • Google did take the fun out of trivia :)

    So, what's the answer ?

  • I'm gonna go with Italy too!

  • Here's one for you all.

Without Googling....which bingo number is usually accompanied by the phrase 'anyway up'?
