After my deposit at Bingo Vega ran out, I was looking for more ways to play before my time limit was up for being eligible to withdraw. So I used their facebook page to score a couple of bbs. While there I saw they were having some other contests going on and started on those. I also saw their post about the 2nd chance room for Monday.
I knew I'd get the invite. Even players who won the $1000 for the week have gotten an invite to the 2nd chance room. But I am always missing the email as it comes sometime on Monday. I found it buried in my spam folder. I also made notes to myself and left them on my desktop about when the room was open. See, I'm always confusing myself on the time since I read 4pm on everything they post, but that is 3pm here. Often I've strolled in at 4pm just to see I missed a whole hour.
So I figured nothing was going to stop me from getting in for my 2nd chance this time. I decided to make it a nice relaxing experience and made myself a hot bath, got a glass of iced tea, and took my laptop in the bathroom with me and settled in about 5 minutes until 3. Everything was going good until 3pm when I tried to get in the room but it wasn't there.
I kept refreshing the screen, because the room just pops up when it is open. Nothing. 5 minutes after 3 and I was still getting nowhere. I opened up the Milky Way room, got into chat and asked CM Scooter what was up. I also opened a help ticket. There I sat in my not so fun anymore bath, trying to keep my hands dry, hitting refresh refresh refresh.
Long story short, I started getting more vocal in the chat because they kept telling me some people were in, log off, come back, refresh, etc... I wasn't the only one with a problem. 30 minutes in, with the water nice and cold now, I was finally able to get in. I put a comment on my support ticket about "how are you going to compensate me". I re-filled the tub with hot water and decided to make the best out of the interrupted fun afternoon.
A few minutes in, I noticed there was $25 in my account! Suddenly things weren't so bad. I also managed to win $37 in the free games. I have to say Bingo Vega's customer service was more than I expected. I expected to be brushed off, since that's happened before at many sites. I expected to not have any kind of compensation. But not only did they generously comp me, the manager joined the room and talked with us about the issue and kept the room open an extra hour with $5 free games.
Plus next week they are going to open the room early with play games so that people can get in and not have a mad dash as the doors opened. Thanks to Bingo Vega and their support team for turning the frown back into a nice chillymellow smile.
