  • ok, im sorry but i need to post again on this bingo site,

i know i have posted similar about this site in the past but i need to do this again...

I think these NEW rules are disgusting, why are soo many people still playing at this bingo site....

soooo, i deposited in this site months ago right and that doesnt matter on this site if u win on the £5 free they give out, THEY actually say you have to deposit again to withdraw now, so this is actually disgusting behaivour and the fact they changed the rule so you CANT play slots with bingo winnings anymore makes me think this site is just being sooo naughty, they are now just giving free bonuses out for no reason what soo ever, and the fact that the minimum withdraw is still £50 is just a total joke for a bingo site, i find that disgusting too....

i know people are disgusted about these rules too, but please everyone please read my post and reply and make an effort so we can get these rules changed for rogers bingo to what they used to be before they suddenly changed them a few months ago.......

    Thanks

  • Lucky,

I just now saw your post and please try to be patient because it will be answered. This just happened to slip through the cracks. I think you get plenty of replies in a timely matter.

First i want to say that negative feedback is never discouraged and no member should ever feel that it is but there needs to be legit complaints.

I am trying hard to understand your complaints here. You're complaining because they are offering free chips? I have seen you complain on the forum because a site doesn't give you free chips!

The minimum withdrawal is $50 and you don't seem to think that's fair. There are many sites including casinos that require a $50 minimum withdrawal. I think it's absolutely fair to have this rule implemented. Why? From the angle of the operator processing fees are not cheap. Not to mention the abuse that would happen if this rule was not enforced.

You would be surprised to know the number of players who will make a min deposit and make a withdrawal request after making a $5 dollar profit and will do this several times during a day's time. It is also important to prevent money laundering.

There is a lot to operating a site that we just don't understand and along the way there is plenty of abuse and loss due to processing.

There are also many sites that don't allow slots to be played off winnings from bingo when it is a free chip. The chip is for bingo and indicates that, therefore the rules should be read thoroughly before taking the freebie or bonus.

I also think it's fair to ask for a deposit before withdrawing any wins off a free chip. If they didn't the abuse would be so out of control that they couldn't offer free chips period. If you find a site that allows a withdrawal without depositing first it's a nice bonus for us for sure. But we can't badger a site for requesting it.

Put yourself in an operators shoes for a moment. If this was your site and bread and butter i would be willing to wager you would implement some of these rules too.

So bottom line is, no i don't think they are being unfair at all.

  • There is one more reason why you cant play slots/casino games on a free chip/winnings. Currently they have no wagering requirements for all their games other than bingo.

However I was informed they do plan on changing this in upcoming months.

    Thank you for replying,

i know i complain a lot, but i am a complainer and to be honest i dont think there is nothing wrong in it, a lot of people in this world never complain, so that is why a lot of companys can get away with a lot of things, the more people that complain a lot of these online bingo and casino sites would probly cease to exsist....

anyhow most other sites with similar rules i avoid, there is a lot of well known BIG bingo sites that have no wagers and have relaxed withdraw limit usually around £30,

i could name a lot of them big name ones and they allow slots to be played when you win on bingo,

another thing i just thought of is this, what if i deposit £10 in rogers and played bingo with it and won, i am playing with cash so if i win then on bingo i should be able to play slots, i dont think we can then either, so the rule is very bad im sorry but it is and i can understand what you was saying, but it is bad

  • Lucky,

Now that is a good question! If you make a deposit and don't take a bonus with t&c and win on bingo i would certainly think you should be able to play anywhere on the bingo site. If not.....then that is one rule i would disagree with.

Just chatted to Peter in live help,

and asked this question for us and after asking the question 4 times and being in live help for 30 mins, because he didnt seem to know how to answer it and was being very very slow, in the end he said YES the bingo winnings will go into the casino balance if you play bingo with a deposit of £10 without taking the bonus.

but he did say they reccomend you just play slots, (why would he say that)

then i just got this reply

    Peter21:33:55

Yes you can but you have to be really carefull because if you dont keep a balance from the money that you deposited you will be start using bonus money and with cashable bonus money wins even though they are cashable you will not be able to play casino or slot

interesting, so now my next question is how can real become bonus lol

    his reply is this

    Peter21:42:32

As i mentioned the bonus money is used at the scenario that you have no money in the account to play les but that one robert, so it doesnt matter if you make a deposit with bonus or not that will just be used in the case that your deposited money reach 0

im still confused, he has not really answered.

now i am starting to think otherwise

  • I couldn't make heads or tales out of reply and to be honest i think he didn't know the answer either and tried to more or less wing it.

I am guessing that the only time you can not use the winnings towards slots is when it comes from a free chip or a bonus.

I will see what i can find out and get back to you.

    ok thanks :)

be aware i was in live help for a long time lol

  • Ok i just talked to live chat and it was like a Saturday Night Live skit (not sure if they have that show in UK).........

My head is reeling faster then a spinning slot, but this is what i made of the chat session........

If you take a bonus and you win it can NOT be used towards slot play. If you make a deposit with a bonus and you do not win then you CAN play slots.

I did ask if a deposit could be made without a bonus and she basically told me no because there is no wagering requirements.

So i take it as if your intentions are to play slots then you need to play that exclusively and vise versa if you play bingo.

The rules are very confusing and i find it difficult to understand why a player can't make a straight deposit without a bonus to avoid this.

We will try to get a rep from Rogers Bingo to come on board and shed some light on this because i'm not 100% confident in what Live Chat said.

    thanks very much

im happy im not the only one now that feels confused, im glad i thought of this too... so it seems my suspissions is correct,

and we should be able to play what ever we like though,

  • i found rogers bingo have yet another new rule

you now have to have deposited in the last 45 days

steven in support said that rule has always been in place, i proofed to them it hasnt, because i last deposited in that site in july and did a withdraw in october, so that proofs that this 45 day rule is a new rule, this site is now deffinately unplayable for me

    LuckyRJ

EDIT: How can a business like this just keep changing rules as they go along, this is outrageous way to do business i think, it just makes this website pointless in playing, the bonus money is now only good if u deposit in the last 45 days, which now is (forcing players to deposit) yes forcing, so if we dont, it is pointless playing in the site, ok nvm, some might think this is fair, but it isnt, because this never used to be the case and this being changed just shows they are now changing there fundamental rules to suit there own needs and forgetting the main reason the website was good in the first place, this is going to drive people away i feel this time......

  • Depositing in order to cash out winnings from No Deposit Bonuses is fair to me. The thing that I don't like is the fact that players don't know when terms change. It would be very helpful to put a date that they were last updated on the page. It saves arguments about how long rules have been in place.

I don't blame you for being irritated with them Lucky. From past experiences here it doesn't seem like Live Chat knows what's going on.  :/

  • thanks froggy,

i am now in a very long chat with Michael the manager, and he says the choice for slots will hopefully soon be back, the news should be coming out about mid december he says, but they still are not sure, they have been saying this for a long time, although this rule of 45 days has annoyed me a bit, i do not mind it, i mind the other rules, so if they do now stick to there word and say the slots playable from bingo winnings will come back i will be happy, he also says they are reviewing the min £50 withdraw rule, ( i dowbt this will change ) but who knows......

EDIT: Further details It seems with these rules hopefully being brought back it will mean the end for them advertising NO WAGERING, it will mean they will be bringing wager requirements in to affect in this site but not sure if the wager will just be on slots only or bingo too, they do not know fully until december....

lets all see what comes of this news :)

  • If it is not updated and in the terms wouldn't that be illegal? Players that can't find any new ruling should get what is in the written rules. If live chat does not know who can you turn to it does seem unfair and not a good way to conduct a bingo.
