First and foremost, one could become a problem gambler. It's not as farfetched as some of us may think to develop a gambling problem. You don't necessary have to be a highroller in terms of spending big money. Gambling is a problem when you spend beyond your means. If you have $20 left over after payday and you spend it on bingo or any other form of gambling it's a problem. Gambling addiction is a serious problem and it's not limited to bingo players. I can see how this would be a valid argument when questioning bingo and its effects on a person's well-being.
This one was just silly to me. Call me crazy but sitting for long periods of time is not a good enough reason to say that playing bingo is a bad thing. People sit at a desk and work all day and no one tells them that it's bad for their health.
Eye strain was another risky aspect of bingo that I just don't buy. Our eyesight is affected by a number of things that are part of everyday life. The last thing that I think of when I play bingo either online or off is my eyes. I've been known to doubt what I see before my own eyes when I win but other than that, poor sight not a worry. For me, bingo and bad just don't go in the same sentence.
So, overall could bingo wreak havoc on your health? Are some of these things silly or do you see valid points?
