It’s the week of July 4th. Independence Day in the USA is a day for family, friends and fun. In honor of this day of pride, I decided to play a little All American when I hit up the video poker section at Bingo Angels.
I opted for nickel poker. I started out small with just 1 coin per hand. If I happened to be dealt the Royal Flush, I could win $125 at just $0.05 per hand. I’ve never really been a huge fan of video poker but I have been told over and over that it’s the best odds.
I played several hands and won little bits but nothing to get excited over. I raised my bet hoping that things would move a little faster. If I could just hit something significant I could go play the slots. That’s my entire problem with video poker. I know that it has great odds but I lose interest way too quickly. I’m sure if I was dealt the Royal I would become really interested.
Anyway, my goal was to pull off a little $50 win at least. I would be up just slightly and then surely I would lose it on slots. I had a few decent hands but I was being pulled away by a strong desire to take a few spins on Club Spin. Winning 1 credit for jacks or better or small wins for three of a kind was all I could do.
It wasn’t long before I was off playing Club Spin. I’ve gotta stick with what I love ya know.
