Bingo sites have been undergoing makeovers left and right lately. Yes, the majority of the time the changes and updates are for the better but it can take a while to get used to a new look. One day you log in and the color schemes, lobbies and even the software is different. You double take to make sure you're in the right place and maybe retype the url only to discover that you've overlooked the email notification warning you. You could have avoided the light headedness if you had just checked your inbox. If this sounds familiar then you are like many of us bingo players. We get comfortable and don't like it messed with.
Entering your local bingo hall can also take your breath away if you're not careful. You walk in looking for your usual spot only to find that all the tables are new and rearranged. The café serves all sorts of new items and the coffee that you loved so much has been replaced with some fancy new blend. What's a bingo player to do?
These upgrades are meant to improve our experience but we need some time to get used to the idea. It's like a brand new relationship. You don't just jump right in. You've got to get to know each other and the same goes for our bingo.
Once you settle in, you'll wonder what all the fuss was about. The old ways will be a thing of the past and bingo will be as it should be.

Ah, the good old days of the slider bingo cards. Nostalgia brings back fond memories and I truly enjoy getting to play bingo outside on a cool evening under the trees and by the river. But does that happen every day? No. Every bingo hall I enter is a learning experience. Where do you buy cards? How much are they?...
How much are they? What are these strange slot machines everyone is playing in the back room? Are all those people in the smoking area or just trying to play slots? I've come across many changes in the online bingo sites as well. Today I had a little tinkerbell come and throw magic dust on my cards during a game. That was pretty cool. Nothing like that happening at the fair grounds! I don't like when sites change their look. But it happens all the time. Sites merge or split their relationships, someone knows *something* different needs to occur, and voila! a barely manageable site is unleashed. One thing I don't like is when they do *something* to the slots. They just don't play the same, or you can't bet as much or as little as you used to. It just rubs me wrong when I know it's an adjustment the site has made because the vendor's slots still play the same! Oh! ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-changes... turn and face the strange....changes...
