A report came this week that the Croatian State Lottery, Hrvatska Lutrija do.o. has chosen Intralot's interactive subsidiary as a strategic partner for a new iCasino project.
The decision was made in a stringent tender process, and the deal has been closed for four years on profit-share basis.
It will see Intralot Interactive, in association with Microgaming, invest in the hardware and software, thus providing a wide range of Croatian Lottery's casino games through the Internet. The titles involved in the offering involve table games, slots games, poker and multiplayer bingo, and these i-games will be integrated into the Croatian Lottery's existing multi-channel gaming platform, based on Intralot's B-OnTMtechnology.
“iCasino is a major strategic project for the current and future interactive operations of Hrvatska Lutrija. For this reason, the selection of the Croatian Lottery's business partner followed a well prepared and accomplished process, which attracted the vanguard of industry vendors. The selection of INTRALOT was the result of a detailed and thorough evaluation plan, based on five main evaluation groups with thirty-eight specific criteria,” said Vesna Bakran, managing director of Hrvatska Lutrija d.o.o.
On the other side, Constantinos Antonopoulos, Group chief executive officer of Intralot, commented: “We are very satisfied to be selected by the Croatian Lottery as their strategic partner for the iCasino project. This new project rewards our long-lasting commitment towards the Croatian Lottery. We are ready to work hard in order to provide exciting iGaming experiences to the Croatian players.”
