When I hear the word "EPIC" I think of many things. There is a style of poetry which Epic could refer to, also Epic to me means something large, of Epic proportion. There are several definitions of the word. So when I was searching for a place to play bingo tonight and I stumbled upon Epic Bingo I was curious. What does the word epic have in common with Bingo. I wanted to find out.
Epic Bingo web site was offering a free 20bb's upon sign up to play. That got my attention. I signed up in record time, and was looking for my freebie when I was told I must register my credit card to recieve my 20bb's for free. I dont know that this is all that common, but I had no problem with it as I have many cards I use just for this purpose of registering and playing online. True to their word, after registration, my 20bb's were there.
I headed in to play a few games of 90 ball . Now gang, this is all new to me. Where are the B- I -N- G and O ? LOL.
I headed over to LBB's Epic Bingo Review to get a better grasp of what was the object of the game and how it differed from US Bingo. This is what I found:
"Unlike the traditional 75 ball bingo played in the US, Britain is played with 90 balls. A significant difference is the bingo card or as called in Britain “ticket” itself. The tickets are arranged in 3 rows and 9 columns. There is no free space (square), with each row containing 5 squares numbered from 1 – 90, while the remaining squares are left blank. The bingo calling board differs from the 75 ball board and is unique in its set up. Arranged in 6 rows of 15 numbers each, giving a total of 90 possible numbers."
That was the perfect review, and a great explanation of the game I was looking for. I was now ready to play.
Call it beginners luck, but I won myself a game of 90 ball Bingo and was on my way to having some serious fun. Here comes the second round. Hmmm, beginners luck is starting to wear out, as the second round was not so good for me. I hung around for another couple of rounds to no luck, so as usual, I headed over to slots.
Although you cant play slots with your bb's, anything you win from bb's go to your real money account, and then of course, you can play slots. I love bingo, but I also love slots, and winning at bingo, and switching to slots is a common practice for me.
I played a game called "Chas'in treasure." What alot of fun this was. I was getting some great spins, and bonuses as well. Back and forth I went for a long time till I bottomed out eventually. Thats okay, I still have my bb's to play more 90 ball Bingo with.
What was Epic Bingo to me? Serious Epic FUN!!!!
