They have been appointed in cooperation with Davy Corporate Finance, the financial and commercial advisers to the Minister for Expenditure and Public Reform in Ireland, Brendan Howlin.
Expressing joy because of the new role, Chris Moumouris, vice president of business development at QLot Consulting said: ”We are proud to be selected by the Irish Government for this high profile project in one of Europe's prime lottery markets. Together with Davy, we are in an ideal position to provide the Irish Government with the necessary support in all areas that such an advanced project as a 20 year license entails. We look forward to help Ireland achieve a successful, entertaining and profitable lottery for the next two decades, maximizing value for all stakeholders.”
Since the current license held by An Post, expires in June 2013, the tendering process for the 20-year license to operate the Irish National Lottery will be arranged early in 2013. Reportedly, Howlin plans to replace outdated, pre-internet era regulations with more contemporary ones.
