It’s the Final Countdown for Play’n GO with Wild Frames Release

Here we are again – Play’n GO has unveiled another new slot; Wild Frames, only this time, the software giant has announced it will be the last – for this year anyway. In the last couple of weeks we’ve seen release after release from the Swedish iGaming company; Chronos Joker, Ankh of Anubis and only a few days ago – Divine Showdown but now it’s time for the Pièce de résistance – the cherry on top of the cake, the year ending finale – Wild Frames.

To end the year in style, Wild Frames enters the online casino scene, styled on a timeless classic with masses of Vegas chic. Throwbacks to a bygone era appear in every spin of the reels thanks to lucky 7’s, golden bells and dazzling diamonds.

When speaking of the latest release and the year 2020, CEO Johan Tornqvist said: “We are very excited about Wild Frames; it has a familiar feel about it due to the classic design, but it brings an exciting and engaging concept to a player’s session which anyone new or old to gaming can enjoy.”

“It’s a great game to end a great year, but we’re not resting on our laurels. 2019 was amazing, and now the challenge is to step it up a level for 2020, it will be tough, but we know we can succeed.”

In the Frame

To win, you must put yourself in the frame, the Wild Frames. The brand-new cascading grid slot houses traditional symbols with a classic aesthetic design. Max win exposure is £700K (or 7000x your stake) which is phenomenal. Playing is simple; select a bet that suits your bankroll and initiate play by pressing spin.

The stylish game is set within a 7x7 grid and the aim of the game is to generate clusters of five symbols (or more) to pick up some wins. Clusters are formed when identical symbols connect either vertically or horizontally in any shape or direction; if you’ve played previous Play’n GO releases such as the sweet Honey Rush or the rock ‘n rolling Black Mamba, you’ll understand the simple concept.

Keep your eyes peeled for the wild card symbols as these have the power to transform other symbols into wilds for catastrophic wins. When a wild appears, it creates a frame on that grid position (hence the name Wild Frames) which will remain in place until all cascades hare completed. If a wild cascades from one position to another, it will create an additional frame in its new position…

…basically, the more wild frames on the grid, the larger the win. There is also a charge meter present which fills with each consecutive winning symbol – the higher the charge, the better the bonuses! Collect 20, 40 or 60 symbols in a single spin to activate the following charge features:

  • Transform (20): Turns non-suit symbols into one type of non-suit symbol
  • Wildcard (40): Adds between 3 and 6 wilds to the grid
  • Shatter (60): Removes all suit symbols (low paying) from the grid.
