Everything at the Oregon Lottery is almost ready for its premiere venture into online waters with a new website that will offer punters an opportunity to win cash prizes through the Internet.
The site has been titled ORcade, and it will provide people with a second chance at winning with their losing "Scratch-its" lottery tickets. The site will also offer a variety of non-gambling puzzle games and a chance to earn points for more prizes, including seaside vacations.
The site will be developed and tested by GTech which has earned some $150,000 for the job.
ORcade's advertizing campaign has already begun with an animated video that says: "Can you say cash prizes? That's right, cash prizes."
Apparently, there will be plenty of those from November, which is envisaged as a probable launch time for the site.
