Though I can’t be 100% sure, but it’s still very probable, the first time I paid any attention to bingo games was way back in elementary school, during a school trip. We went to the ocean for seven days in May, and what was very surprising, and well… still is, we stayed in a pretty decent hotel. The summer season hadn’t started yet so there stayed, from my point of view back then, really old people but when I look back, there have must been some people in their 30’s, like myself now. Anyway, they had bingo nights regularly and I would pass by the hall where they played bingo games but I had never dared to enter because it didn’t seem to be cool enough for the kids my age.
Though I’m now not ashamed to say that I play bingo, I like the convenience of staying at home and play it at my favorite online sites. So, I paid a visit to the Online Bingo site yesterday and I felt relaxed; I told myself, if you win – great, if not – don’t be disappointed, it will get better. With these encouraging words I entered the 75-ball bingo or New Quarter Room. I guess I just prepared myself for the worst since that was just what happened. Interesting patterns such as Lucky 7 or NY Martini that were following each other kept my attention away from the disastrous results that I had; when I decided to play the last game, I realized that I had enough money to buy only six cards. I should mention that I also played in the Dime room which is a 75-ball bingo game but my “luck” was the same.
Well, talking about shame and being ashamed this is how I look at things – I’m more than happy that I play bingo but I might be slightly ashamed for being a crappy bingo player. I am sure that that’s the reason I prefer playing bingo at home instead of playing in big (or small) bingo halls - no one can see how bad I am at it!
