In a EUR 10.5 million deal, Playtech has acquired Aristocrat Lotteries from Aristocrat Leisure Limited.
The strategic acquisition will enable Playtech to expand and diversify its retail and VLT market share in key jurisdictions.
Aristocrat Lotteries, based in Stockholm, is a gaming server provider in Norway and Italy. Its TruServ™ platform has an established reputation in the Italian market.
Shay Segev, chief operating officer and head of retail for Playtech, said, "Playtech's multi-channel solution means that this content can be deployed across any location and delivered through any device as well as allowing operators to cross-sell their customers into digital channels.
