The game was launched as a very personal link to a bingo-playing regiment serving in Afghanistan. When that became impossible Tidy wanted to keep the good feeling going and dedicated themselves to raising money for Help for Heroes. It's worth noting that Tidy don't make a penny in profits from this game; after the prizes have been funded every ticket sold is in aid of the charity.
The new prize is a stylish and patriotic Help for Heroes hoody or t-shirt. A great visible way to show your support for our armed forces.
Buy a single ticket in any Tidy and the Troops game and you'll be in the draw for that month. Buy more tickets and you'll have more chances to win (one ticket = one draw entry) and the charity benefits more. The first draw is due on April 30 so you've got plenty of time to get involved.
In May 2014 a first donation of £467 was made, followed by another of £567 that October. The game is played every Tuesday evening in the Tidy Cupboard, an exclusive room open from 7pm to 11pm on Tuesdays and Fridays. Each week more money goes into the kitty and the current running total is £572. Since the game launched that means Tidy players have raised over £1,600 for this wonderful cause.
You can get involved too. Tidy's players – the Tidyers – love the Tidy Cupboard and it's at the heart of the site. Packed with chat games, you're also likely to meet the site's owners and can start to talk your way towards the excellent Roomie of the Month prize (this April that's Swarovski Elements jewellery).
Sign up at Tidy Bingo today and you'll get a 200% bonus on your first deposit. If you put £10 or more into your account you'll get a spin on the Wheel of Fortune with an extra bonus of up to £2,500.
