An announcement arrived this week from famous bingo provider Wonder Bingo, reporting of a sponsorship deal it has closed with the popular Alan Titchmarsh show, which also inked a two-year broadcasting and licensing deal with ITV.
The main protagonist of the show is Alan Titchmarsh, who began as a professional gardener and gardening journalist, but he became a smashing hit after he appeared on various TV gardening shows. Now he already has his own ITV chat show slot, he publishes gardening books and has earned himself two Gardening writer of the year awards.
According to Jacob Fuller, President of Wonder Bingo, “Wonder Bingo are looking forward to a marvellous partnership with STV and what a great opportunity this is for us to find a property which fits in with our brand values and positioning.”
In addition, Wonder Bingo will be launching a big TV advertising campaign this October that will include new TV commercials and trailers around the show. This way it will mark the deal and provide viewers with the chance to win £1,000 cash.
Head of Sponsorship at STV, Kelly Bredin, said: "I'm delighted that Wonder Bingo has come on board as broadcast sponsor of The Alan Titchmarsh Show on STV this autumn, there is a fabulous line-up of guests and the features are both engaging and entertaining which is a great fit with the Wonder Bingo brand.”
Wonder Bingo is famous for their fully moderated chat rooms, where people can socialize, create their own profiles, share status updates, just like on a social network. The social factor of bingo is recognized as a very important feature of the game, and Wonder Bingo seems to have recognized it early on and strove to provide its players with a supreme social and gaming experience.
