The triumph of Fab continues throughout all mediums and online Bingo has a biography all its own that is a legendary. It wasn't until the 1990's that bingo emerged across the cyber landscape introducing games that many cultures may not have ever known otherwise.
Americans were accustomed to only one game in town and that was 75 ball bingo and the UK had a gig that was exclusively 90 ball bingo. The new world looked across the pond as the UK looked back in complete astonishment as it opened virtual doors to new bingo variations.
It was the same anticipated excitement when the Beatles made their debut on US soil for the first time in 1964 on the Ed Sullivan show. It was the largest conquer for the Fab Four since Christopher Columbus discovered America.
Many bands followed in the Beatles footsteps and wowed the world with greats like Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones and The Doors. And while the only orchestrated virtual doors around were sites like Cyber Bingo in the 90's it quickly flourished with a deluge of online bingo sites today that battle it out to make the top charts.
As the Beatles transformed from hits like I want to Hold Your Hand and Twist and Shout they elevated to Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and songs with lyrics like “toe jam football” in Come Together.
And come together did the online bingo industry as it elevated to more bingo varieties including 30 ball, 80 ball and Swedish Bingo and a few unique twist developed along the way. Today in 2013 what the internet did for bingo is what Ed Sullivan did for the Beatles. It places it on the of world-wide map of success. And without social media, internet and communication on a global level I shudder to think what life would be with no Beatles or no online bingo.
And as the late great John Lennon quoted: Yeah we all shine on, like the moon, and the stars, and the sun.

I am a big fan of the sixties and the British music invasion. I was born just in time to have great bands like the Beatles be my major musical influences. I am also a big fan of bingo and have been hooked ever since I looked online for a local bingo hall and found one I could play in my own home. Just as the hits on the chart go up and down, and just like the resurgence of many sixties bands who are regrouped, reformed, and now trucking on through the 2000 teens, the online bingo world has also undergone a lot of change. And in spite of legal issues between countries, it is still going strong. You can't stop rock and roll and you can't stop the bingo balls from dropping all over the world. In an international setting, there are a lot of technicalities and legalities to overcome. Software has improved, security has improved, bingo sites have worked hard to be able to include US citizens in their memberships. The sharing of cultures leads to a nice blend of opportunities for bingo players around the world to experience new and exciting ways to play the game. The song remains the same, no matter how much it changes. Bingo will always be a favorite pastime for millions of people. We can all sing and play in harmony. We can all be entertained and wowed by the variety of awesome music and bingo sites. Joy to the World!
