The latest news from the San Francisco-based developer Zynga involve the launch of a new game - Zynga Bingo, which brings tons of free-to-play fun to all online bingo fans.
It has been announced by the company reps that the new bingo offering will be released on a limited beta basis this week, whereas the full version will have to wait for another few months.
"Right now, we're only letting a limited number of people into the game to make sure our players are getting a primo, Zynga Bingo experience, before officially open the floodgates," it has been specified in a blog, which also adds that Zynga Bingo enables its users to choose from a variety of rooms, such as a Vegas-themed room, a pirates-themed room, and a FarmVille-themed room, and gives them the opportunity to invite Facebook friends to a friendly Bingo match.
According to Leena Rao, who wrote at TechCrunch, regular bingo differs from the new ZYnga variant in that the latter offers that "social aspect," namely: "When you start the game, you'll be promoted to enter themed bingo rooms and compete against friends or other random players on Facebook simultaneously, challenging buddies in a race to get B-I-N-G-O faster. Similar to Zynga Poker, players can chat and see which rooms their friends are in."
The fact that Zynga has been launching a host of new titles lately has been explained by Rao as an attempt to get its shares price back up, after the dramatic decrease owed to Zynga's launch of its long-awaited IPO back in December.
