SpinLogic
Not every new company that shows up in online casino markets is necessarily a start-up. Some of them can be subsidiaries, and others are simply be rebranding. The latter seems to be the case with SpinLogic, though that’s obviously not the whole story, nor the end of the story. The company behind this rebranding is RTG, which itself is quite a well-known gaming brand across the world.
However, what would the reasons for such a rebranding be? Ever since this started in 2021 a handful of reasons have emerged. First off, the main reason simply seems to be creating a new brand for US, Latin American and European markets, whilst the RTG will be retained for Asian markets. Apparently, the name change also went hand in hand with acquiring new certificates for fair play. But have the games changed, and what does Spin Logic have to offer in general?
All About Online Slots
At least for the moment, the whole selection is in its entirety based around online slots. At the same time, it does seem that some of the titles have received a bit of a facelift, with graphics touched here and there. Some much-needed work has been done with compatibility as well. RTG itself is quite an old company, and some of its games are from an era that used completely different technology. Bringing the games to use HTML5 standards means that they are available on all devices, mobile or otherwise, without any extra steps.
SpinLogic Slots: Doragon’s Gems, Fortune Buddha, Khrysos Gold, Meerkat Misfits, Neon Wheel 7’s, Nine Realms, Penguin Palooza, Spring Wilds, Princess Warrior, Run Rabbit Run, Sweet 16, Sweet 16 Blast, and more.
Common Factors
Let’s take a look at some of the common factors among the slots available. You will find that the company retains the classic way of setting up reels, which means that pretty much all of these slots come with the standard of five or three reels. However, they have paired this with ways to win systems, as well as normal paylines to add that bit of extra variety.
The themes are pretty varied, ranging from your classic fruits, to deities, riches, and pure fantasy. No wonder, since the parent company has been part of the casino gaming scene essentially from the start. They’ve seen trends come and go, and have taken part in quite a few of them.
When it comes to features players can expect two or three per slot, though there are exceptions to this going both ways. Bonus spins are a staple special, but not always the primary function. Multipliers and progressive or fixed jackpots are usually the ticket to the bigger wins.
What About Other Casino Games
RTG has produced an array of table games, and a selection of other casino games. For now, it seems like those remain only available through the old brand. We wouldn’t be surprised if they’d eventually make their way into the selection of SpinLogic too, but currently they are still busy converting all those online slots into the new brand. And perhaps giving a bit of a facelift to select titles too. Video bingo or any other format of bingo isn’t part of the selection at the moment.
Licensing and security
SpinLogic doesn’t seem to hold a licence as such, though we do know that RTG does. This is also probably due to the fact that these games are also meant for US markets, which doesn’t always go hand in hand with certain licences and other regulated jurisdictions.
