The company has been operating since 1998, which is basically from the very beginning of online gambling. They have moved around a bit, having originally operated from the USA. Today the company is headquartered in Costa Rica.

It would be pretty surprising if there was no background software in play with this company, considering that they have been in the business for so long. RTG used to have a Curacao licence, but as things are now the company seems to be operating without any clear licence.
