How many times have you sat back said to yourself “if only I could do it all over again, I'd do it different”? We have all made bad choices and went down the wrong path at one time or another, after all the halo can't always be straight right?
Looking back there are plenty of things you would change. If only we could rewind like a tape like trying that cigarette for the first time when you were a teen. Even though you most likely turned seven shades of green and took nearly a month to learn how to inhale, you thought it was cool.
Or friendships that were let go over a silly squabble that was so insignificant you forgot why you were mad. As a result you lost a life-long friend. Maybe you sassed mom or dad one time too many and regret the day you took it too far, hurting them to the core.
How about the time you landed yourself in jail for drinking and driving because you thought you weren't drunk. Legal fees mounted up and ended up losing your driver's license for a year.
We have all raised hell in our lifetime and done things we shouldn't of. If you could have nickel for everything did wrong the piggy bank would be full. That is what is so exciting about every New Year because it give you a clean slate to start anew.
It isn't about making resolutions, instead solutions. There are a list of things to improve upon. Whether it is learning how to budget better, hug your children every day or tell your mate you love them daily, it will make you and those feel a whole lot better.
