Wigan supermarket brings luck to the UK punter
This past week has been very lucky for a UK punter who bought a GBP5 scratch card at a supermarket in Wigan, immediately scratched, and revealed a prize of GBP 1 million!
He then left the venue, probably in an attempt to avoid publicity, and claim his prize as soon as possible from lottery operator Camelot.
In regards to the big win, a Camelot spokesman said they could neither confirm nor deny the Lottery win, since the winner had not yet contacted them.
