Bingo Bytes Review

Anyone likes word games? I do. Do you know what lipogram is? That’s a text written without using a particular letter of the alphabet. The hardest one is without the letter E which is the most common letter in both English and especially in French. Now imagine being in a position of a French writer Georges Perec, when a friend challenged him to write a whole novel without using E. Perec was an extremely clever writer and he loved word games and puzzles; he wrote crossword puzzles for Paris magazines. He accepted the challenge but again, just imagine, a novel in French without words like “une”, “le”, “je”, “elle” or “est” etc. But this “impossible” rule unlocked his imagination and he even claimed that he wrote this novel faster than any of his other books. It was called “La Disparation” – a mysterious disappearance of a character called A. When the book was published, the critics failed to spot what was so special about the book. Embarrassing!

One bingo site used an interesting word game in its name – Bingo Bytes. Even though it’s a unit of data which is 8 binary digits long, it is pronounced the same way as “bites” and I can’t stop thinking about having bites of my favorite food. I have already played there a few times without much luck so I was hoping for some changes now. There were a lot of players everywhere so I decided to enter one of the 90-ball rooms which had a bit less than 20 players. I stayed there for a while but nothing happened. I didn’t want to play there any longer so I entered another 90-ball room which had over 80 players. I tried the reverse psychology on the site to see if it was going to work. But it didn’t, it was awful, like a nightmare. I spent all my money and I couldn’t even play my favorite – bingo slots. I think I won’t play at this bingo rooms again. You see, I didn’t use letter E in my previous sentence. Woohoo, a success!
