Should you stay in or should you go? That’s the dilemma many of us are facing in the wake of Coronavirus. Human to human transmission has been confirmed in multiple cases, with one man infecting (at least) seven people in his hometown of Newport (Wales).
Mass events like concerts could be a breeding ground for the potentially deadly Coronavirus (Covid19), which is why one arena in England has decided to review upcoming acts as a precaution.
O2 Academy Sheffield have said that they are closely monitoring official guidance and working with event organisers to keep concert-goers safe. You can only achieve this by cancelling all events, something they’re not willing to do (yet!). Good news for Bongo’s Bingo revellers – the upcoming event will still go ahead, which include Wolverhampton on April 9th and Hull on 9th, 16th and 30th or May.
In a statement, organisers said: "At this time, all shows and events are going ahead as planned. Please be assured that the safety and health of all staff and visitors, is our main priority and we are implementing recommendations and instructions appropriate.
We are closely monitoring official guidance from the World Health Organisation, Public Health England, Public Health Scotland, UK Government and local health authorities and are working with event promoters and organisers as information evolves."
Can You Prevent Coronavirus?
Having great hygiene skills can go a long way to preventing you becoming infected but washing your hands alone won’t save you. Self-isolation is the only way you can protect yourself fully, which would mean staying home completely. This may not be the news revellers and partygoers want to hear…
…but bingo players can still dab and grab a huge win by playing online bingo. If you suspect you have Covid19, call 111 and do not travel to your GP, pharmacy of hospital. It’s important to note that you can have symptoms without having been abroad, but if you tell health officials that, they rule you out for testing!
On Tuesday night, Nadine Dorries, the Health Minister tested positive for the disease and took to Twitter to vent her frustration at journalists. “If you want to know how low a journalist can go, @DailyMailUK on my doorstep in the middle of my trying to deal with everything else. He opened the gate, knocked on the door, rang the bell. I hope he washes his hands. #Coronavirus “
To take the strain off the freephone helpline, NHS 111 have set up an online symptom with information on how it spreads, how to avoid the infection as well as what to do if you think you have it. Stay safe LBB’ers and play bingo games at home! The best bingo experience is just a click away!

I think it’s stupid how people will still go and attend these mass events knowing there’s a good chance they can catch the virus. We should be following Italy’s lead.
