Until recently the idea of the internet being addictive would have just draw a chuckle. But the Internet has become an integral part our lives and Internet Addiction Disorder has become a reality. It made me think how many people don’t have all the symptoms; I will admit it – I have a panic attack if my internet connection is bad. Luckily, nowadays it doesn’t happen too often and I don’t want it to happen when I play bingo.
I went to Busy Bingo, and I decided to play in a 90-ball room – the prize money wasn’t impressive but there weren’t many players. My hopes were moderately high and I thought I could calculate with how many tickets I could play. I didn’t know whether I should have been happy or not with the outcomes of the first few games; I was one to go winner every time winning around £0.50. There was a, let’s call it an interesting, situation when I needed 14 or 16 to cover Full House but after a few calls I heard 15 and someone else won the game. Ahh… that was so irritating.
In the next game I won Any Line part winning £3.19 – I was pleasantly surprised. But unfortunately, it was pretty much the highlight of the evening…. I had other small wins and I was one to go winner a few more times but there was nothing else rememberable.
It was time for some slots and the first one my list was “Tropical Island” and it was awful I lost a lot and nothing good happened. I thought to take a chance on the “Fish Toons” slot that has been redesigned and it looked interesting. And it was a really good game; even though there are no features the base game pays really well and with some cool combinations I completely recovered my balance. But then things turned bad for me and it was an empty spin after another. At the end I lost only £10 – it could have been much worse.
