Charity Bingo Raises More Than £333K for Worthy Cause

Charitable bingo sites have come and gone over the years, but only one has remained – Pink Ribbon Bingo. Since launching in 1997, the bingo brand has paid out real cash prizes to bingo players (including big jackpots!), while donating a chunk of their profits to the Against Breast Cancer charity. But they’re not the only ones to do this!

You may be surprised to learn that Mecca Bingo has been donating to charity for years, and so far, this year, they’ve raised £333,162.82 for a very worthy cause! But how do they achieve this? By playing bingo games and winning prizes – it’s as simple as that!

Rank (owner of Mecca) has been supporting Carers Trust for more than 6-years now and in that time, bingo players have helped donate more than £2.5 million! This sum is a combination of bingo games being played as well as generous donations being made through various fund-raisers.

How You Can Help

There are three ways in which you can help; first is to make a donation via text. Test 3MECCA to 70085 to donate £3 or 5MECCA to 70085 to donate £5. Texts will cost either £3 or £5 (which ever you choose to donate), plus one standard rate message. It is a one-off donation service, not a monthly recurring service.

The second way to help is to join in with fundraising by supporting Carers Trust directly. As it stands, it’s estimated that there are more than 7 million unpaid carers in the UK and some of those are children! Bake-offs, sponsored walks and other inventive ways to help can be found on the charity website.

Last but not least, is my favourite way to help…

…by playing bingo! The carers charity bingo games are part of Mecca’s regular bingo schedule; 8pm Monday to Saturday and all-day on Sunday’s in the following rooms; Two Little Ducks, Main Event, Penny Lane, Legs 11 and Lucky for Some. Many are under the impression that you won’t win anything by playing charity bingo games, but they’re wrong! Very wrong!

Every ticket you purchase (in these games) will not only be going to help vulnerable people…

…but will also give you the chance to win some great real money prizes! You’ll still be playing for the same prize pots and that’s guaranteed!

Two Little Ducks is probably my favourite of all the rooms as it offers premium cash prizes without breaking the bank. Plus, there are bingo jackpots to be won too, some of which have seen players walk away with wins of over £70K! What can you win? Take a look below:

  • Premiere Bronze Jackpot: This is won on average every 2 hours with a £10 fixed pot.
  • Premiere Silver Jackpot: This is won on average twice a day and has a fixed pot of £50.
  • Premiere Gold Jackpot: This is won on average once a day with a total fixed prize of £100.
  • Premiere Platinum Jackpot: This is won on average twice a month and is a progressive jackpot starting at £5K. The biggest win recorded on this one was over £10K!
  • Premiere Diamond Jackpot: The biggest of them all and is won on average once each month. This massive progressive jackpot starts at a whopping £10K and can grow to over £70K!
