Drugs Could Be the Cause of Mother/Son Bingo Shooting
After playing at Gala Bingo Hall in Harpurhey, Scott Calder 22 and mother Marie 56 were cornered and shot by gunmen in a car as they made their way to the car park.

Although confirmed there could be a possible link to drugs according to investigators.

The injuries sustained were not critical with a gunshot to the mothers elbow and to the wrist of the son.

Scott referred to as “The Demon” posted on his Facebook page about the incident that occurred outside Gala Bingo.

Det Supt Alex Millet said:

“This appears to be a targeted incident which could have had even more dire consequences. Thankfully it doesn't look like either are too seriously injured.

“We believe the black car was driven by two white men and it's from that car that the shots were fired. I want to reassure people that we have had armed response officers to the scene and are now investigating.”

Gala Bingo was closed as the area was quarantined off until a complete investigation was complete.
