Most of us are sore losers, it develops early in a childhood; I really cannot get into the details why that happens. But as a consequence, even some simple and joyful activities such as sports and games could turn into unpleasant events. You could spot it early, at the playground playing hide-and-seek and it turns into a mad fight with your best friends after sports games. I could see and read about it even when it comes down to playing online bingo and other casino games, players feel cheated but often rightfully so. I don’t want to brag but I’m nothing like those people; I’m gracious both in defeat and victory. However, recently my virtues were put to test at the House of Bingo site.
I played 80-ball bingo; as the games went by, I could realize there’s a pattern; it was obvious – I couldn’t win. In one of the games sometimes peculiar occurred; after the list of all winners was shown, I noticed that a guy/gal was a Full House Winner and a one to go winner at the same time. I felt cheated especially since in that game because I had a few cards with two more numbers to go. If I had been in a bingo hall I would have made a scene… just saying. I stayed for one more game and I finished being a Winner but just one of four. FOUR! can you imagine that?! Just when I saw my winning card; the list came up and I saw three other winners. I got just £1.36, not fair!
Utterly spent, I turned to bingo slots; I played “Lucky Clover” and “Big Ben”. The first one I didn’t play for long because the bet is just too high for my taste - £1.25. But I still managed to keep my balance over £60 which meant that it was a great slot. The latter one proved to be a complete success. Even though the Bonus Rounds were a mess bringing me just £2.25, with some great wins in the base game my balance went over £70. As I got back to my winning ways I felt better and everything seemed to be in order. Me, a gracious loser?! Hmmm… I gotta think about that again.
