The online gambling industry in the Philippines will see changes in the market after the announcement from the Leisure and Resorts World Corporation that it has acquired Digiwave Solutions, an online operator for PAGCOR.
Premiere Horizon Alliance, the owners of Digiwave, accepted LRWC's offer of approximately $14 million and once shareholder approval is obtained it will be a done deal.
According to a LWRC spokesperson, Digiwave comes with 45 e-gaming venues in various areas of the Philippines making it a good fit for the company's 75 Bingo Bonanza halls.
LWRC has plans to expand its bingo business seeing it double as a result of this partnership.
