News came this week that Spanish gaming firm Codere plans to cease its operations in Argentina and close fourteen bingo halls in Buenos Aires.
Apparently, the reason for such a move lies in the fact that the company has difficulty repatriating capital from the country to its other operations, as in concerns about the call of trade unions for the nationalization of the gaming industry in Argentina.
No official statement has arrived from Codere so far, but as it seems, numerous companies are interested in buying its Argentinean operations.
