£100,000 Teen Bingo Winner Loots In Riots
At the tender age of 19, it may have seemed that Ursula Nevin was born under a lucky star when she hit £100,000 playing bingo.

But as it turns out Ursula changed the fate of good fortune by gambling every last bit of it on slots in the bingo hall in just a few short months according to her mother.

In an interview with her mom Lucille Blakely she said: "She is a very, very, very bad gambler.

"The whole 100 grand went back on gambling in the bingo hall. She spent it on £2 slot machines with £100 jackpots. When she went back to the bingo hall we thought she was back playing bingo — we didn't know she was on the machines.

"Five games would cost a tenner. She was there from 5pm until 11pm so imagine how much money went into the machine and how quickly.

"She gambled the lot in three or four months. They loved her in there for putting money in the machines. They thought she was great."

When riots broke out a few weeks ago in Manchester, Ursula now 24 and a mother of 2, seized the moment by looting a pair of designer shorts for herself. Her roommate and partner in crime made off with £625 worth of stolen goods.

Police caught up with her and searched the flat when both girls were arrested shortly thereafter. Ursula was sentenced to 5 months in jail which was later reduced to 75 unpaid work while her roommate was given 18 months on burglary charges.
