Ups and Downs of this Unique Variant
Rollercoaster bingo is just one of many exciting and unique bingo variants available online, and while it works very much the same way as all other bingo games where you buy a ticket and hope for a win, the difference comes with where you play. There are only two versions of this game available at online bingo sites; one at Tombola and the other on Dragonfish powered websites. One offers a set prize and duo of jackpots based on your stake and the other offers an increasing and decreasing prize pot with a single jackpot.
Dragonfish Rollercoaster Bingo
Just like a rollercoaster track full of ups and downs, the prizes available go up and go down as bingo numbers are called. You may think the closer you get to a full house the smaller the prizes are, but these games are not designed to consistently lower the prize fund with each call, instead, the prizes can climb too! Available to play at T-Rex Bingo, tickets will set you back £1 each with tickets displaying 24 numbers from 1 to 75.
Each game is a coverall game so in order to win the only prize available…
…you need to fill your ticket before anyone else to win. What makes these games a ‘rollercoaster’ of entertainment is the prize pot. Call in 50 numbers (or less) for a jackpot of £500.
Tombola Rollercoaster Bingo
Unlike Dragonfish bingo sites, Tombola’s Rollercoaster Bingo is exactly what it sounds like! Cleverly designed with up to four tickets per player per game, each of those ticket is in the shape of a carriage with five silhouetted heads in each. The aim of the game is to fill your cart before anyone else to win and should you do that in 5 or 6 calls, you win up to £10K on top of the full house winnings!
Heads have names and colours to help players identify what they need to win. David, Kelly, Paul and Laura are just a few of the 40 possible name and colour combinations featured and each has its own catchphrase when falling from the ride. Instead of pulling bingo numbers, this unique variant pulls heads from the rollercoaster as it loops around the track over the tickets (carriages). If a head matches what you have below, it automatically lands.
Up to 4 tickets can be purchased per game with 5p, 10p, 25p and 50p options. Meaning it will never cost more than £2 to play. If more than one player wins the only prize available – a full cart (house), they split the funds. If more than one player wins a jackpot, each receives the full jackpot amount. Tombola don’t ever make you split jackpots!

I like the excitement of not knowing how much you can win with the dragonfish games, and I like the two jackpots offered at tombola. It’s hard to choose a favourite to be honest.
