RockYou Bingo is a free-to-play offering which uses its own rewards platform for instant-win cash and prizes that are often derived from corporate sponsors.
In return from being the game's distribution partner, Slingo will benefit from an undisclosed share in revenues derived from the game's 300 000 monthly active users.
According to Slingo CEO Rich Roberts, “We're confident that RockYou's Bingo will hold strong appeal to our player community. The opportunity for players to instantly win real prizes is an incredible engagement mechanic. Our player community will love it.”
It was added by his counterpart from RockYou, Lisa Marino: “As a highly recognized international gaming brand and game innovator, Slingo is a natural partner for RockYou. We see this distribution relationship as the first step toward even bigger opportunities where the two companies can leverage RockYou's unique Rewards Platform to deliver a more compelling player experience and ultimately more revenues.”
The duo then confirmed that RockYou Bingo for mobile and tablets will be released during the year.
